what do you guys think on the SR850 vs 668b for someone in the USA ... also is this site legit?

sr850s been at or under 40$ on amazon

I think Green Fly Music Supply (the linked site) is legit; in fact, I received an order from them just last week.  Shortly after I placed my order, they contacted me by email and told me that the phones I ordered would not be in stock for about two weeks, explained that I would not be charged before they came in, and let me know that I could cancel with no problems if the wait was not OK.

In short, a class act.

Shipping charges at Green Fly music Supply seemed a little high for me, but still a good over all total price for the 668Bs.

yea but its free ship over $49 so fillers = cheaper then paying shipping ... was just wondering whether to pick up the sr850's when they go down to $35-40 on amazon or get the 668b's at $50 (since the sites legit)

For anyone that might be interested in the Superlux HD651, I think I may have found a rebrand of it - http://www.alesis.com/dmphones A quick google shows that they can be found for less than $30 at a bunch of retailers (Provantage has them for $16.14+shipping!)

There are also some other rebrands - Presonus HD7 looks like an HD681; apparently the HD7 has better bass compared to the 681, so it might be a rebrand of the HD681b. CAD MH310 looks like a rebrand of the HD662F

Does anyone know where I can buy the 660s from in the states? Wanted to grab them, but the shipping from thomann is kinda steep. Has anyone try them out? Read the review on headfonia and now I want them.

Also, has anyone seen/heard anything about the 661s? They look almost exactly as sony mdr-7506s. They also have an attachable cable. These might be the portable cans I've been looking for...

I purchased a pair from ebay seller AAAUDIO (http://stores.ebay.com/AAAUDIO).  They don't seem to have any listed currently, but you might try contacting them and see if they are likely to get more in.  Their ebay store page says "Call if you have any questions 909 949-8617 10am-4pm west coast".

that is WILD!!!! I can't believe you found those. They really do look like re-brands of Superlux phones.

The Superlux HD651 is now 5 euro/ $7 over at Feedback.nl and they have all colours in stock. Absolutely a crazy price. I live in the same city as their store so I'm picking up a couple right after work. They make great gifts to friends that only have iBuds. 

I need to try on the HD661. They look badass :)

Wow, only 19euro/$27 for the hd662..wish we had those prices over here
