Just picked up a CA/BA-2000.

Hey guys, I think I did pretty well today. I managed to pick up a Sansui BA-2000 and CA-2000 at a local thrift shop. $80 for the pair. From the research Ive done, that seems to be an amazing steal. The CA-2000 seems to be in relatively good working order. Theres a little noise in some of the pots and switches. The BA-2000, Im not so sure about. The lights come on on the meters, but Im not getting any sound. I can rebuild small engines, repair musical instruments, and build my own computer, but I honestly have no idea how to troubleshoot or repair this kind of equipment. I love to tinker but I know when Im out of my element. Can you guys recommend anyone in North Carolina that would know how to fix this stuff? Would I do better to send it off to someone? What would you guys recommend?

You could look under the Do It Yourself section 1st or maybe try one of the Senior Member's for some guidance for someone to send it out to or if it's worth the trouble!
