Aww.. that was sad to hear. I suppose you could solder the wires without causing much harm to them :)

From your OP, I'm gathering that the wire is broken away from the IEMs themselves. So you could solder the break in the wires. If you do a competent job, you won't suffer any loss of quality. You will, however, need to devise a way of keeping the join(s) strong and resistant to tugging apart. It won't be the prettiest thing either, but they should work fine.

Sounds like a Silver recable is on the cards this week.....

if you cant recable urself, ask any of ur frnds who can solder, provide them Some Silver Cable, a good Neutrik 3.5mm stereo plug, and ur done.... u'd be happier with the new details u would be able to hear in ur music if the Silver wire is legit and good enough :)
