I was not really looking to expand my gear or buy something new so I mainly wandered around listening to new things. The Beyerdynamic A1 was highly impressive, the HM Elektronik amplifier was great sounding and specially the NuForce HDP impressed me a lot. I do not want to trade any of these for my Concerto but all of them are great amplifiers.
I also won the Hisoundaudio in the Raffle. It has been playing with the included earbuds for 24 hours now and I have to say that the earbuds are some of the best earbuds I have heard to date. The player itself is also amazing. It has a little edge in soundquality over my iPhone 4 but it is a whole lot better than my old iPod 5.5 G. I can imagine that it gets better and better with more burn-in.
Today I received a HM-601 and I will make a fairly large DAP review and comparison between iPhone 4, Hisoundaudio Studio and the HM-601 form HiFiMan. I guess it will take several weeks before the writing is done but I want to make it right.
