So I just inherited one of these from my parents who were just going to leave it out on the street and hope someone picked it up. I was curious so I grabbed it before they could essentially throw it out. So what do I have here? I'm very VERY new to this stuff so I'm pretty much in the dark here. Is it worth hanging on to?

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

As long as it works, why not keep it? Unless of course you already have something better. Given that it's Onkyo, it should be pretty decent.

Yeah I figure I'm going to keep it around. I just ordered the HD650's so I want to see how the two mix. Forgive my ignorance but could I use this as a DAC? I did some research on it and am learning some but a lot is still foreign to me. I plan on picking up an Asgard and a separate DAC as I'm going to be running the HD650's out of my computer. If I could use this as either the amp or DAC, that would certainly save me some money.
