Portable, light, bass-heavy, closed back circumaural headphones?!

Hey guys,

So I've been stalking this forum for the past few days just reading hours and hours on end about the headphones that I wanted (ATH-M50), but now I'm not so sure that they're the right headphones for me anymore.  I'm looking for a pair of headphones that I can use mainly for walking between classes and running/working out, so I think the M50s might be too heavy for me.  I also like single, not Y cord because it's just easier not to have the wires get tangled.  I'm looking for a pair of headphones under $150.  If anyone knows of a pair of headphones that fits this description, I would really appreciate any insight!

You could take a look at Ultrasone's there single cable and should have something in Your range or just search under Head Gear and You might find something else there!  atsmile.gif

You could look under For Sale/Trade Forum, SBoy has a pr. of Ultrasone Pro 650 for $140., see what they go for new and check them out if not there are other phone's in the style You're looking for.

i was looking at those too, but i feel like the earcups are way too big and they look like earmuffs... is there anything similar to the xb700 that has heavy bass?

BEATS. just kidding triportsad.gif Surprisingly, the Sennheiser HD 439s have really nice sound. The bass is okay. It is better than Skullcandy and up to par with beats. Its more of a clear crisp sound than a focused "oomph" bass. But it is really good. They have a 1.4 meter cord which is normal portable size. They are circumaural, really comfortable,  and they cost about $100. Good pair of cans for the price.
