Yes, I do know that one. Just wondering if this one is the same... I'd rather call this the Mini^2.5 or Mini^3.5.

sorry, i meant AD8599! you can find them at farnell or mouser, or other well known vendor :)

AD8599's maximum output current is less than 20% that of AD8397, and it cannot swing rail-to-rail -- an important factor to make maximum use of the available battery supply voltage.  These factors make the AD8599 inferior at supporting low and high impedance headphones.
