My ideal DAP, possible to find?

I wonder if I can find a DAP that sounds, sized equal or smaller than Sflo2, but must have great responsive touch screen like ipod touch.  I just can't stand Sflo2's touch screen.  I've tried J3, but not what I'm looking for.  imod, I have to carry the amp around, which I don't want.  P3 is my gym portable solution, it outputs sound I like, but it can sound better with bigger amp.  Those are my top 3 portables, but I'm not satisfied with any of them.  

I think it all comes down to synergy.  I noticed that Phonak doesn't work too well with J3, but SE530 makes the J3 sound very good or vise versa.  My first thought was that the culprit has to be the impedance because phonak seams like it needs more juice, but impedances are very close.  Its also the way they state impedances, its usually stated at a certain frequency.  To me PFE needs juice, so something with a high powered internal amp such as sflo2 works very well with it.  SE530 on the other hand doesn't seem to demand an amp, it has higher sensitivity.  SE530 sounds fine with Cowon.  

I'm curious how a DAP will be designed if it was designed by a headphone maker or vise versa?  Would the DAP work well with the headphones to acheive best sound possible?

I don't know if I like brighter if it is ear bleeding bright like AKG701.  I like flat response, although my favorite sound is out of a good amp and HD650.  P3 grew on me over time, it has great resolution.  Right now its the sflo2 because of it amped like sound and the resolution.

I also want to add that I want an output impedance switcher for various headphones of different sensitivity.
