Reminds me of classic NAIM hardware, like the 42.5.

X2 on Frank Cooter's work. They're also exceptionally well-made and sound good, too. I jacked my HP-2 into that amp a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.

I have a soft spot for the old Moth designs. Part of the reason I had to have a Si2A3, though its sound and build quality sure don't hurt. I also like the Zana's styling - a good example of Machine Age without any frills.

Though not headphone amps, I'm also a big fan of the older McIntosh amps as well as the Atwater-Kent "breadboard" radios.

I always like the look of Decware amps myself.

Ahhh.....the practical minimalism of necessity has rendered a design of aesthetic simplicity- or some such Schiit.

My current set-up - not possible without a leather recliner! Everything just sounds better recumbent.

That's some crazy glow in those tubes there...

Wow, what's that casework?  Your own CNC work, or did you buy those chassis someplace?  BEAUTIFUL  METAL DIY!

Of course I will vote for my rendition of the Bottlehead Crack kit....

And I think my compact build of the Bijou OTL tube amp is also pretty cute.

This pic just doesn't do the Sonett justice! It looks A LOT better in real life. The blue is much deeper dt880smile.png

Interesting that Elekit's getting a lot of love for their styling. I've got a TU-882 and it sound fine, but it's about the opposite from audio jewelry, as tube amps go.

I love the look of vertical cases like Frank Cooter's and milosz' Bijou. (Cooter's in particular; using Radio Age equipment in cases based on styles that predate the wireless era. Heh.)

A vertical case can't be optimal for anything generating a lot of heat, can it?
