Good ipod headphones replacment for UNDER 100$

Hi,

i broke my ipod headphones a couple weeks ago and don't want to pay for a new pair. I'm ready to pay between 50-100$ for better ones.

Now my question is, what is the difference between in-ear headphones:

or, ipod-like headphones (doesn't go into the ear as much) :

Amazon.com: Yuin Pk2 Earphones: Electronics

What's the difference in terms of sound, comfort?

And if you could tell me wich heaphones would be the best in my price range (0-100$) it would be appreciated. Does the earphones i put as examples are good ones?

Thanks and sorry for my english....

Welcome to Head-Fi papamoomin! Well from first hand experience, owning the S4i's, it's not a great place to start with, personally.

They are too bass heavy, have a limited sound-stage, too recessed in the mids, and have rolled-off highs.

I would highly recommend a pair or RE0's from Head-Direct. Here:

Hope this helps. Thanks,

you could consider Meelec products - or try an all rounder like Phiaton Ps210 -
