My favourite is a free party mix (hard trance) by a dj called C D Smee. The mix is called On Ya Back Like Kojak. Only listened to it about 400 times or something. He's got a lot of other mixes which I haven't heard yet because I'm still busy listening to that one (years later). links are here

Also a fan of some of the old progressive trance compilations, Global Underground and Northern Exposure come to mind. As does a mix called After Hours by a bloke called The Generator, very good prog trance starts with Markus Schulz - Clear Blue and takes it from there. The mix is on LSDB if anyone is after it.

I've been digging Deadmau5' Electric Zoo set on Grooveshark.
Also check out the generator that I mentioned, has a fair few hard mixes as well
How about hard house?

I wouldn't mind some Hard House. Hard Dance has a special place in my collection though. I love it.

Very similar to anything with HARD in front of it, but genre classification is all about BPM. Hard Dance is generally slower than Hardstyle. It's also usually more corny than most the Hard genres. By corny I mean more crazy synth junk over the Hard kicks.
EDIT: Although with the more modern 'poppy' Hardstyle sound, they're pretty much all the same.

All I seem to listen to these days is DJ mixes, so I'll post a few of the best ones I have.
A London Dub - The Best of Digital Mystikz and Loefah:
http://www.lo-la.co.uk/2010/04/08/a-london-dub-a-best-of-digital-mystikz-loefah/
By far my favourite mix. It represents everything I love in dubstep: deep sub bass, hard hitting beats, space and a wide range of influences. If you don't know what DMZ is, you don't know dubstep.
Jay Cunnings - Classic 1994 - 1995 Jungle:
http://soundcloud.com/thecunningone/jay-cunning-old-skool-vol-02-jungle
Some great mixing on this one, and it includes some of the best jungle and old school DnB tunes.
Jrocc - Funk, Rock and Soul Mix:
http://soundcloud.com/jrocc/funkrocksoulmix
Just a fantastic, groovy mix of some old classics.
James Blake Mix:
http://electronicexplorations.org/the-show/130-james-blake-revisited/
A mix from one of the best and most exciting up and coming producers in the dubstep scene. This is a short 30 minute mix from James Blake including his own songs and songs that have influenced him.
Hatcha - 2002 Studio Mix:
http://blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.com/2009/11/happy-birthday-i-am-5.html
This mix really shows the beginnings of dubstep. A lot of 2 step Garage type stuff in this mix, since that's where dubstep originated from.
