Been listening to some great old school sets lately and really enjoying them:

Richie Hawtin-Live at the Windsor (Tech House)

Dieselboy-Drum and Bass Selection (DnB)

John Acquaviva-X-Mix (Trancy, Tech house)

As far as im concerned, these are flawless sets.

What are your faves? (any time-period, and genre)

I can't get enough of Vince Watson - Echoes from the Future, View to the Past. Good ol' soulful techno.

One of my favorite DJ sets is actually very recent. Netsky's Self TItled album has a complete album set on it. It's absolutely stunning.

I fell in love with this album. Also check out his BBC Essential Mix, its pretty good. My next favorite mix is Nero - BBC Essential Mix. Has great dubstep, some slick french house, and a bunch of their remixes, my favorite being their rendition of Justice - D.A.N.C.E. Most certainly worth checking out.

It's probably my favorite DnB album of all time now. Seriously. It's just ridiculous, IMO.

I will for sure go grab those. Always looking for good Electronic sets. They're so few and far between lately. Also...I hate D.A.N.C.E. but I'm always looking for a remix that will change my mind. lol

Morbid-

The Netsky album seems to be a collection of individual tracks (13 total) and is not continuously mixed.

Am I missing something here?

The continuous mix was an iTunes exclusive, and the 14th (15th if you include Moving With You) was exclusive to MP3 download album releases.

Great....so im missing the 15th track. And this one track is an entire set?

Im listening to the individual/first 14 tracks and they are interesteing, but nothing earth shattering.

Really? The only other Drum N Bass that I feel competes with Netsky in the vein of nice, simple DnB is Logistics. They're probably my top 2 DnB artists out there. Remove the cheese and you're left with pure drums, snare, and bass.

I can't get enough of it.

If you're looking for something a little more lively, give Sub Focus a try. Probably my favorite when it comes to more intense stuff.

EDIT: Yes. It's a 32 minute full album mix

If you want some really rough stuff try Evol Intent and Spor.

Speaking of which, another favorite set of mine is the Supernova Promo Mix that Spor did years back.

DE9: Closer to the Edit - Mr Hawtin

Kreucht und Fleucht - Mr Eulberg

10 Years of CLR - Mr Liebing

Ben Klock's Berghain 4 was nice.

I just listened to Afrojack - PachaNYC Podcast set, from when he played last month(I think). This was the first I have ever listened to him, but I was quite impressed. A nice mix of some newer club beats with his own twist on them.
