Fellow Head-fiers,
First of all, let me thank all of the community for the great info and discussions they offer here. I'm a first time poster here, but I've been reading the forum for a while now.
Now on to the thread's topic:
The Hifiman players seem to be really picky about SD Cards (and there seems to be several bugs in the system). There is some information about SD card compatibility, but it's spread through several thread and it's very hard to find it. I just bought an SD card, only to find out, it doesn't play some of my files right (more on that later...).
Maybe we could all post our experiences in a systematic and orderly manner, so to build up a little database we can all use. I hope I don't buy another card that doesn't work as it should! To beggin, I'll post my own experience:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brand: Kingston
Capacity: 32GB
Class: Class 4
Overall experience: Regular
Experience/Issues: The player recognizes the card and all the files with no problems. When the battery is very low, it won't recognize the card anymore, but that might be something that happens to all players and SD cards.
The main issue is with FLAC 24/96 files. Every other file type work ok, but 24/96 Flac stutters constantly. This doesn't happen with the same files played through the internal memory, therefore I assume maybe the class 4 rate of data transmission is too slow. (I know theoretically it should be enough, but actual data rate might vary and I hope that someone else can check this if this happens to them too).

PS: please excuse any grammar or spelling mistake, english is not my mother tongue.
