Gilmore Lite loop out question

Thread Starter

Simple. Does the Loop Out only function when the amp is turned on (does it function when it's off)? I don't have many RCA cables on hand so.

Thank you.

The loop out should function whether the amp is on or off.

What is the loop out used for?

The loop out is for those with headphone and speaker set ups.  The source (CD player, DAC, etc.) would go into the headphone amp, and the loop out goes into the speaker amp.  That way, you don't have to add a manual switch to the signal path which might degrade the sound quality.
