Greetings all.
Two weeks ago I decided I wanted better audio from my PC. I found out about an affordable solution; the Asus Xonar DG for $30.
Well, 2 weeks have passed, I've become obsessed with quality audio and now I've spent over $200 on decent Sennheiser headphones, and a beginner tube amp, the Qinpu Q2, which got a pretty solid review from the member SkyLab here at Head-Fi.
Well, I'm already feeling the urge to spend more money. I was wondering what decent (affordable) speakers I could get to pair with the amp. Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm a noob to Hi-Fi but I learn quick so bear with me.
Would a powered sub, like this 8" Dayton Audio sub paired with these Dayton Audio bookshelf speakers be worth it?
Would that set up even be compatible with the Qinpu Q2?
Would the sub be powering the speakers at that point?
The reason I ask is because every time I see speakers connected to the Q2 they are tiny and there is no sub. Would the above solution work and would the power requirements be met?
