Impressions in Singapore

Thread Starter

I have almost decided to get myself 1964Qs for my birthday but still need to get impressions done to do kick off the process. Can someone kindly point me to a trusted audiologist in Singapore?

Also, for the Singaporeans, how does tax/customs work on expensive shipments?

Try Digisound in Novena Square. It's reputed locally for good fits.

For any packages that you receive from overseas with a declared value of SGD 400 and above (including shipping), you will have to pay the 7% GST on the entire price. 1964Qs will definitely require you to pay at least ~SGD45 or more of GST.

hey...i can't recommend them directly, but i heard good things about DigiSound at Novena Square. I hadn't heard about them before i had the full service done at Jaben (which some people speak bad of, i didn't have any problems). There are probably a couple more options at various hearing centres, but those 2 i know about.

hope this helps :)

Digisound Novena.

They will do over and over if you find the impressions unsatisfactory, or if there is some kind of "defect"

I didnt open my mouth wide enough leading to problems, so I did it over again for free.

0 hassle, and the people are nice too.

With GST it's $64.8 if i didnt remember wrongly.

now i'm interested to see what everyone paid for shipping, customs and any additional costs - on top of the IEM-price!? i was always guessing it's the same price (or at least only a little more expensive) when going through a dealer that does everything. but i slowly start to think i might have been wrong...

shipping depends on where you're sending your IEM to. are you going for a reshell? or new iems?
