Sound volume too low on pc?

Hey!

 

Not sure if I have the right section to post this but I just bought the Sennheiser HD 348, the sound totally awesome on my iPhone. But once I put it on my laptop the volume is kinda low. I can do almost twice the volume on my iPhone than on my laptop. Do I need to download a driver or something? Currently the volume settings are on Speakers now, I don't see the option to switch them to Headphones (Win 7).

What type of laptop is it? We'd need to know what type of integrated audio chipset it has, then go from there.

Toshiba P300-174. Conexant Audio Driver for AMD HDMI Codec (not sure if I have to put this here as well :P).
