Just curious if anyone else uses their local Public Library as a source for music?
i did when i was little, but that was all way before cd ripping days. if you wanted a copy it went on a cassette tape
i havent used a public library in forever.
Yeah I borrow my classical music from the library. Too poor to be buying my own CD's right now haha.
For TONS of my music: jazz from Ella, Duke, Miles, Goodman, etc to all classical symphonies and operas to some popular female jazz singers. Just borrowed a 16-CD set of total collection of Bach organ music. I'm there all the time, often getting 10-12 CDs at a time
We have a small branch library here in town with about 200 CDs. What bums me out is where they're located, on the bottom two shelved of a book case, I have to kneel or lay on the floor to peruse them. My knees don't work like they use to. Come to think of it, not much works like it use to.
Newage section is crazy usually at the library..HA
The best part is finding music that you would not find any other way.Who knows where they get their music from?
