My old archos 5 120g battery recently decided to stop working properly so I'm in the market for a new pmp. I was thinking about something with an android os on it so I'd be able to surf the net in wifi spots and possibly make wifi calls using google talk and a bunch of other apps. So obviously I've been looking at the new archos 5 internet media tablet (given its high capacity storage and sleekness) and the new archos 43. But I'm also wondering what else is out there, the other pmp I've been looking at is the creative zen touch 2 with to me seems like the best buy so far. less expesive than the other 2, expendable memory just like the 43, and well....it's made by creative so you know it'll have good sound.
so now the 3 are cool in they're own way, but does anybody know of any other pmp's out there that could be a better/ cheaper alternative then the 3 I've mentioned.
another option for me would be to just get a play high-cap pmp and just get an android phone when I renew my contract. I've owned a 60g toshiba mp3 player in the past, and it wasn't enough storage for my music....seriously.... so I got an archos 5 120g... it's about 80% full with just music. so I'd need something around that number. but so far apart from the archos 5's I don't know of any mp3 players or pmp's that even come close to it.... Iriver use to have amazing high cap mp3 players but they don't make them anymore.
oh decisions, decisions....what to do?
ps: I'm also not a mac guy...so I pods are out of the equation...thanks
