Should I switch to DAC from X-FI?

I currently use Creative Titanium Fatal1ty soundcard

I love the sound from iphone 4+T3D more, so I am thinking about switching my sound source of computer

I read some other threads and deciding between a DAC or HD sound card

any suggestion? any alternate suggestion is welcomed too

DAC primarily for stereo output.

HD sound card for surround sound.

 

Depends on what you prefer.
