Small form factor, front loading CDP?

I am building a SMALL office speaker rig, where my tube amp is approximately 10" w x 5" deep. Any recommendations for a front loader in something less than a 12" w x 10" deep form factor. Has to be fromt load (amp will sit on top), and not powered by a wall wart.

I'll occasionally see cheapie Magnavox and the like, but am hoping for something a bit better. Using  Sony DVP-NS775V, which is ok, but want something a bit smaller.

I didn't state that very well... I already have the tube amp, just need a CDP / DVP to feed it.   :-)

I understood that you just want a spinner. Not too many in a small format unless you want some junk like a Coby.

Little Dot has a CD transport if that helps.

EDIT:  Hmm, I just looked at that Yamaha on their website and saw the back panel. I thought surely it'd have some preamp outs or maybe some kind of line out. Bummer.

If all you want is a cd player, the Virtue audio Piano M1 is supposed to be pretty excellent and according to the Stereomojo review of it, within your size requirements.  Also quite inexpensive.

$699 is inexpensive?  Cool :P

Saw this on Audiophile China (and I looked all over J&R and B&H as well as several google searches)

Oh and I went back to Amazon and found this: It has ans Aux out as well as a digital out.

It's inexpensive for the quality of construction and sound.  Probably should have made that clear.

I think Shanling has one for about $220. It looks like an older version external drive from the front, but longer towards the back because of the PSU inside the chassis.

I was thinking about Shanling and I was sure that Audiophilechina carried their stuff but it's not there now.

The reason I was so interested in this thread is because I've been thinking of upgrading my source to include a DAC and using my Denon DVD2900 as a transport would be a huge waste of space.

In any case it looks like they only have one front loader and it's not a small format design.

Yes, I like the Shanling, and the Cayin would be nice, assuming it comes in 117v.

Perhaps the Cambridge Audio Sonata CD30 is small enough? It's 11.2 x 10.6 x 2.6 inches.

Good find.  Pretty pricey though.

Check out the Sony D-EJ01 CD Walkman it has optical out.

Rare, hard to find, and was Asian market only. It's about as big around as a CD and was slot loading.
I bought mine in HK back in 2001.
