Splitter box recommendation?

Thread Starter

Would anyone be able to recommend me a splitter box for connected to amps to a single source and splitting the signal without compromising the sound?  XLR would be preferred.

Thanks!

I have on order an LR1 Pro from Mapletree Audio Design.  Lloyd is making it 2-3:  2 balanced inputs (female XLR), 3 balanced outputs (male XLR).  Obviously, I can't comment on the sound quality yet, but numerous folks have reviewed it favorably.  If you're planning to go beyond 3 balanced outputs, and are in need of new DAC, I'd look into the LIO-8/Amarra Model 4, which can be configured with innumerable balanced outputs.

Try making one yourself, should be relatively simple because you're not passing high current (ie, amped signal) through the switchbox. Just be careful of how you hok up your grounds. I recommend switching the grounds as well, but that takes more effort and planning. Goldpoint has some good rotary switches and switchboxes (XLR).
