though of course they did not actually say "we have received the amps" it would be great if someone with facebook would explicitly ask.

From JHA Facebook Page:
They have not been recieved yet.
well.. cant say i didnt see that coming
Don't get it. They expect to begin shipping to customers next week but they have not received them from China yet?
JHA and their double messages.
They haven't been shipped to them yet and are estimating to have them out my next week....suuuuuure....no way thats happening.
my understanding is there are some amps currently on the way and those will ship once tuned to the earpieces. Shipping to customers should happen next week if the amps arrive this week. I'm not totally sure how may there are but as of right now I'm #4 on the list up from 7 or 8 (die to a few refunded orders). I should be in the first batch and will be sure to post pictures and impressions once my 3a combo arrives . Yeah it's frustrating but the folks at JH were pretty frustrated as well when I called as they want to get this product delivered.
I was number 7 when I put my money down at Canjam....wonder what I'm at right now ![]()
Btw, I wonder what percentage of people cancelled their pre-orders?
boy i hope i make the first batch.. it would be torturous to watch people receive theirs, and STILL have to keep waiting.
While I agree it is really no different than any other product release. Portable amp release tend to come out in batches just look at the RSA and Headamp releases and I heard the Stax new flagship just released 50 or the first orders so this is really no different. Some of those were delayed and some releases are not but even with the wait there is light at the end of the tunnel.

There better be more than "SOME". You can't just send a few and call it a day...not when shipping from China is taking as long as it is. I mean 2 weeks just to receive the final approved sample? A lot of us have been waiting nearly 10 months. Last I checked I was 12 but probably moved up some as well. But "SOME" better be at least 50 amps. How hard could it be for a Chinese manufacturer to churn out even 1000 in a week (not that there were that many orders)?
Are we there yet?
just a little further...
ya know i was thinking.. please forgive my speculation.. but maybe they will be able to ship them as soon as they arrive. If jerry has a finished model, and the amps configuration is software based, it is theoretically possible that they have some or all of the JH3A earpieces made already, and have already begun the tuning process for each IEM with jerry's amp as the tester. He may be able to just run the tuning sofware then calibrate amp software accordingly, and save it. then it may be a matter of just "uploading" the individually tuned software onto each amp when they arrive.
again.. i am just speculating, but maybe thats why they seem to say they can ship so fast. If they WERE able to do this, I would not be suprised AT ALL if they neglected to tell us such information given their communication track record thus far, so I am holding out some hope that this may be the case.
getting the 1.0 product is gonna be awesome...
Mmmm....water!
what do you guys think of the theory i posted?
