sickness screws up sound hardcore

Thread Starter

Im kind of sick currently, and since ive been getting better ive noticed that my left ear gets this crackly foamy sound sometimes. It used to happen when I played trumpet if I hit notes that were too high. I can only assume it has something to do with pressure in the sinus cavities.

It sounds like theres water in my ear or something and its foaming up, and occasionally i the sound actually starts crackling. I know its not the headphones because even when I dont have music in the left ear the ear does that (ie music in right ear, not left)....any ideas?

When was the last time you had your ears cleaned? I'm not a medical doctor, but it could be a wax buildup. Why don't you get your ears checked by a professional? That isn't normal and your hearing is very important.
