Why does iTunes now minimize to that little annoying mini-interface on my taskbar?

Id like iTunes to minimize to a simple itunes tab, as opossed to the little mini-itunes tab that it currently minimizes to (I think it converts from the former to the latter after sitting in your tray for a certain amount of time).

 

Is there a way to change/control this?

I think I understand you.  I haven't noticed it change when sitting in the taskbar for a time.

 

Second-click on the taskbar and then go to Toolbars in that pop-up menu and deselect iTunes and it should no longer minimize into a miniature player interface, just a regular window bar like everything else.

THANK YOU!!

 

That stupid mini toolbar was making me go bananas!! I couldn't stand it anymore, I was about to throw away my computer. Thank you, you've done a great thing here today.
