lol its not the jumbo pads,its the MS2i minibowl earpads (and perhaps 325i and RS1/2 as well? not sure what bowl it is exactly called) everything sounds a tad more clear

I've considered doing just the same. I swear I burst out laughing for about a minute when I first read that. Sometimes you've got to have a sense of humor with this kind of stuff, otherwise you'll blow your stack.

 

I don't mind the product, either. For a quality cable (i.e. it won't break with reasonable use) for a niche purpose, I don't think $20 is wholly unreasonable. I still probably wouldn't pay it, but then (hopefully) you only have to buy it once because it should last. Besides, how many $4 RCA cables do you see in the electronics section of the supermarket that are < 1ft long?

When your wife can't make up her mind which one of the increasing number of headphones on your table to smack you upside the head with?


Unfortunately, I don't have that problem.

lol I wish that statement was true for me. The loudness war has destroyed a lot of the music i have. Why must they do this to us? Also if I go to a school for audio engineering would they teach me to follow the terrible trend of the past several years?

that's depended on the employer, just do what they ask otherwise optimize how you see fit thought by your school

When you're supposed to buy some some IEM for your sister (which you totally convinced her to buy, just so you could try them) and end up buying some for yourself too, and your excuse to your girlfriend is "it's not my fault i was on ebay it was my sisters"

Lol almost same deal with me, a friend wanted to go buy new IEMs, and I tagged along... Safe to say I had to justify my purchase of a new set of IEMs :D
