Yeah, definitely the Stax here. But then, maybe that's just because I have different standards for beauty than most people and don't find the average supermodel very attractive. The sound of a great headphone however? Quite beautiful, and it's beauty that comes from the inside and which lasts as long as the vessel does.

I would probably get the stax and sell them. Not because I don't want the stax, but I don't have anywhere near enough cash to buy an amp to use it properly. From my understanding, they sound awful out of a crappy amp/no amp. (My current options are a Sansa Clip, an iPhone, or an E11.)

I'll go all the way and spend whatever, just to get something that I'm happy with. I think they top out under £250, which is a lot for an IEM, but potentially worth it.
