I had Arch in the previous incarnation of the server, but I had some weird error turn up where I couldn't get it to update anymore. I figured I need more practice running Arch full time and the server is critical, so I've fallen back on Ubuntu and will run Arch in a virtual machine and play around with it until I'm more comfortable. It did work well for a while, though, and I learned quite a bit from the experience.

lol i do this from time to time especially when i notice it cause it they disturbs my music when i'm walking around....
(yes i walk around with open backs so i can communicate without cutting the music)

I use semi-open backs for my portable...enough so that I can hear a car coming behind me, or catch on if somebody tries talking to me...then I know to pause the tunes.

lol well in fact i do find difficuilties at times talking to people in anything that isolates more than a grado 
so being lazy as ever to dig into my pocket to pause or mute it i just talk to them with them being on
