I think he meant whoever had Grados as their first set are audiophiles, not necessarily saying all audiophiles had Grados as their first.

lol i can relate to this. You begin to listen to the detail of the headphone rather than the music

... when you spend more on capacitors to upgrade the crossovers in your speakers than you spent on the speakers.

You spend 15 minutes trying to EQ the crappy speakers of a dodge caravan for fun.
