I was on top of Mt. Avalon during Xmas eve. Beautiful day, a little chilly though (-15 with windchill?). Peaked just above the treeline for one spot.

One more things you know your an audiophile when you open up all your presents, put them in a stash for later use, and then spend the rest of the day on Head-Fi posting about headphones and everything else that your got for Christmas.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I see it now! I couldn't make out what it was from the angle I was viewing it at. Looked like a bug...or some type of messed up beetleborg. It is indeed rayquaza though.

 

 

edit: Also, you know you're an audiophile when you are going to be the only one at a meet who's gear totals below $500 and are embarrassed about it

I sat thinking if my gear was worth $500 when i went to to Irvine meet, i then realized(after i figured my gear is that much MSRP) that $500 is an absolutely huge figure for the non-audiophile, i didn't seem like a lot to spend on headgear at all to me.

 

 

i feel the same way sometimes. at least i finally got a pair of top tier headphones

Feeling pity for people with iBuds.

You know you're an audiophile when you are in a lovely chalet in the French alps, but still want to go home as soon as possible because you want to finish your Beta22. And also because you miss your main head-fi rig, and have to put up with a HD 25-1 II + Mini3 rig.

MSRP my stuff is worth juuuuuuuuust about $500 =__=. Still 3/4ths of the headphones are worth that much there
