I've been doing that for years... long before I even considered a quest for higher quality audio or anything of the "audiophile" variety. Have I really been one this whole time and not known it smily_headphones1.gif

When you swear to yourself after every purchase that this is the last time and you think your rig is perfect as it is now. Then you see the next "must have".

When the FedEx, UPS and USPS guys get together and plan your intervention.

When everyone says your name "Norm" every time you enter the post office.

Every year you have a barbecue for the FedEx, UPS and postal delivery people for a job well done.

Internally UPS has your address as "route 378".

You got all your buddies at UPS, FedEx and USPS a pair of Grado Sr-80 for the holidays. They all love them. Except Bob from FedEx said that the treble has a little too much sizzle. Oh well.

When you flatmates get sick of signing for parcels when I'm not there (headphones and related gear of course)

When you keep on looking at the postal website to see where your new order is

This was a one off time but I opened a bottle of Moet and Chandon alone and enjoyed the flat response of my HD800's

I was thinking about this the other day, my reasoning was that going blind would be a GOOD thing because my hearing would take over that portion of my brain and music would be even more orgasmic.....

I guess that is what an audiophile would think

yes, but for being a real audiophile you have not to imagine that, but to nativley think that.....

You know you're an audiophile when you stress more about what headphone to get next than anything else.
