When you have the choice of ten headphones to use and you switch between at least three of them during a three hour period.

It is worse. The first one I passed on. I find this headphone again and given its price I just cannot resist.

Only those that are content with their iBuds. The rest of us are being sucked into an audiophile pit with no hope of return, some slower than others. But there's no denying it.

Not even, those who use the ibuds tend to blast them so loud that they get hearing damage - the other day a girl in the back of the bus were listening to music so loud from her ibuds that people over half way down in the bus got so annoyed the went up and yelled at her....Yea...Thats not really healthy in my book at least :p

When you buy new headphones, realize you no longer like a lot of bass emphasis, and wanna re-evaluate your purchases, and replace everything with more neutral stuff. :frowning2:

It is about bass quality, not quantity. Headphones like the K500 can output quite some bass but find the right amplifier and amplifier settings first.

When you are fed up enough with the audio bug that you call it a day. (Time to clean up...)

I've never babied my hearing... and apparently I'm much more resistant to loud-as-____ noises such as riveting guns than my friends who aren't audiophiles.

I don't get this. Ibuds/earbuds, most of them sound quite trebley. It's so fatiguing to listen to earbuds at super high volume.
