Edit: How do ya embed the videos from youtube?

There's a button in the editor which looks like a piece of film. When you hover your cursor over it it should say Insert Video. Click it and copy-paste the YouTube URL in the box that appears.

I haven't had the time yet to go through all the tracks I purchased from Beatport a couple of nights ago, but I've heard some of them and this track really caught my attention. The original track is from the same two Finnish brother (DJ) Orion and J.Shore whose track The Night After I linked some time ago in this thread (or rather I linked a remix of the song). This track was remixed by a Finnish dude who uses the name Tom Fall. The sound quality in the video is... ok I guess but doesn't even compare to the uncompressed track. The sound is much less detailed, the bass lacks impact and isn't as tight, and overall the song just sounds much more distant/less present.

As a side note I'm actually slightly tempted to go ahead and buy the album both of the songs The Night Before and White Birds are from, even though chill out isn't a genre I've ever really listened to. Perhaps that's a good reason to get the album actually, get familiar with the genre.

thanks, ill definitely check these guys out.

Being played here at least once a day now!

really? i actually really like mistabishi but i like his "standard" tracks like "druggers end" or "rwd the evolution". he recently released a cool remix which ill link down here. i dont get his experimental stuff though... i think i have a pretty open mind with music and i listen to some experimental artists and all, but i think mistabishi should just stick to the more typical kind of music. his most recent album eluded me completely and i just didnt get it.

So much tastey material, brain starting to lock-up! @H20, glad you and your brother are digging the Phutureprimitive and what a bonus that it is so well recorded and mastered. The tracks all have weight to them that feels more like non-sampled music, but you get all the crunchy textures and clarity that comes with quality samples. I am about to go for a nice listening session. There is also a nice collection of tracks available at Beatport from Aleph Zero Records called Dark Room Beats. It is mostly chill out and a little deep house, but quite good material and mastering overall, although to my ear much of it lacks some of the heft that Kinetic has.

New Koan Sound EP out today/tomorrow. Extremely well mastered and excellent production, the Neosignal Remix is my favorite off the EP.

I'll certainly be checking out the new Koan EP, thanks for the heads up.

brilliant! what genre is this?

I'd probably call it Glitch Hop.

Phutureprimitive is a blend of glitch, dubstep, chillout and electronica. Very good stuff. His previous album Sub Conscious is more chill out but not purely chill and also quite well recorded.

Thanks liqwidlord for the sweet track link, I like that sound quite a bit, plenty of energy and punch. Very cool.

It's definitely dubstep (more specifically, not brostep) with influences from glitch, psybient, etc.

I've seen him live twice, he opens for Shpongle, once along with Eoto who are also frig gen dope. He's awesome, puts on a good show live, nothing super fancy but he rocks the eff out andyou can tell he really loves his music, hence why I bought a shirt and this album from bandcamp :) He's up there with Infected Mushroom and Shpongle for the artists I listen to most, I really love his mashup of Mad World by Gary Jules.

I've been really busy during the past couple of days with very little time to listen to music but today I felt like listening to some Nhato so here are three tracks from him, although this is a bit of an odd bunch. The first one is one of his own compositions and on the second one he collaborated with Taishi. The last song is originally by Taishi and was remixed by Nhato. I like Far East Garden a lot. Himmelslied is actually one of my least favorite tracks from Nhato's debut album but not awful by any means. I chose it because it forms a nice link between the first and the third track because it's a collaboration with Taishi. The last track There features perhaps the worst Luka vocals I've heard to date but I still prefer the vocals to majority of modern electronic music with singing that I've heard. Most of those really aren't something that appeals to me.
