Aphex Twin, Bluetech, Burial, Four Tet, Moby, Tycho, William Orbit

A few names to start with.

Electronic was the first music genre I got really into. I was introduced to house music by a friend when I was about 10.

More recently I've mostly listened to Trance of all types.

The only stuff I havn't listened to much is ambient / downtempo and I'm keen to try it. What are some of the artists I should be looking for? (I already have a lot of BT)

Cheers,

Cheers,

I would recommend 2 artists.  Bluetech and Carbon Based Lifeforms.

I'm watching the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Hungary on my computer since I'm not at home and I have to say, ambient techno is great to play while the race is going.  The album is Divine Invasion by Bluetech.

I'm blasting this somewhat ridiculously loud in my HD800s right now. Mmmmm...

Beautiful song no doubt, already in my iTunes top 10 played.

Love it.

Here's a stray from xKore's typical style, really liking this:

Seeing Tycho and Amon Tobin (Isam) next month. Long time fan of William Orbit, Four Tet, and of course Aphex.
