Hello everybody. I just wanted to introduce myself and to say that I'm new here. I heard about this place through overclock.net in the sound section. After browsing for a few minutes, I have a feeling you guys are going to make a hole in my pockets (I'm too lazy to get a wallet. :D). In case you're curious, I have Nuforce NE-6 IEM's and I listen on a Sansa Clip 1GB (C'mon. It supports FLAC). What got me interested in sound and headphones was my phone. It is a Sony Ericsson w518a and I was really impressed. I'm hoping to learn a lot more from you guys.

 

PS: I love the site so far. It feels more mature and professional than other sites.

 

Oh. And does anybody have any basic advice. I am an Extreme noob when it comes to this

Welcome to Head-fi! ~ I first heard about this place from overclockers.com, I remember I was inquiring about the best headphone for under 100 bucks... and now because of this hobby I have to make-do with an OC'd core 2 duo... oh well. redface.gif

 

As far as advice... read the forums, sooner or later you'll be able to turn the written word into a sound signature and know exactly what it is you're looking for. Oh and don't forget to use the source!

I have heard about this place: EVERYWHERE!

and its driving me crazy...each month i want to upgrade. tongue.gif
