Best place to get 5 meters of silver cable(silver only)

Hey everyone,

I was trying to find some 28 awg-24 awg silver headphone cable(im recabling my custom 3's...:)). Ill need around 5 meters if it is a single wire since i am running a four wire setup. The best deal i have found is the 24 awg 99.99 percent pure silver wire at qables for $7.77 per meter. anyone else find/know a better place/better deal? thanks everyone!

Thanks anyways-that was my first idea but qables had cheaper silver.

http://www.partsconnexion.com/wire_hookup_occ_ag.html has some silver wires in different gauges. However you'd need to buy teflon tubes seperately since its all bare.

vt4c.com leaves these others in the dust, its bare silver, but they also sell ptfe separately at a good price. if you want uber silver maybe best to look elsewhere, but if 99.99% is good enough then these guys are unbeatable

They have all sorts of good wire.

 

I bought my OCC silver wire from them.  It's Neotech cryo-treated with Teflon and sells for $14.40 per meter.  Yes it costs more than the silver wire you're getting but this is also 6N or 7N, so it is a much purer silver.

i like the neotech copper, but not a fan of the silver, the teflon coating is too thick and makes for rather willful cables

I'm only using it for hook-up wire.

I wouldn't go solid core for headphone cable - espeacially customs. You need braided/stranded.
