Hey I was wondering if anyone could clear up the mess of ideas I have at the moment.

So basically I’m looking to upgrade my portable rig the ipod is playing up and it’s out of warrenty.

So at the moment it’s a 6g Ipod line out to Headstage arrow

The two main headphones I use are HD650 and TFpro10s.

In the future I’m probably looking to eventually get the LCD 2 (I know this needs a good amp) or a JH16/JH13.

Also i listen to pretty much everything, but my taste is expanding pretty quickly.

The first idea is to go with Hifiman 602/601 and amp.

Second is to go with a whipmod and use the arrow.

Third is to get another 6g ipod and Cypher labs to my arrow or alo Rx2.

Also I’ve heard a lot about  the sansaClip+

Also my understanding is that the Cypherlabs takes a digital out of the ipod so theres no need to go to a Imod?

Any suggestions and clarification would be appreciated.

I'm ghetto - either the classic 7G (I'm waiting for Rockbox to be stable for it), or a Rockboxed Sansa clip+,...simple as that.

I've been waiting for the rockbox for the ipod but it just never seems to comefrown.gif

but does can the sansaclip+ drive the TF10pros nicely or does it need an amp? cause i like the size.
