I have some very sensitive IEMs (LiveWires/Fidelity Customs) and they're just not enjoyable to use on pretty much anything because there is so much noise/static. It is my understanding that a resistor will fix this.

 

Basically all I need is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor with the resistor in there (just a regular stereo jack commonly found on laptops and the like) that is of decent enough quality. I might consider paying to have it spliced into the cable I already have for a little bit more (I'll ship you the cable).
