Tube amp for my Grado Sr80i's

Looking for a Tube Amp to use on my Grado Sr80i, What can you recomend in the price range of 200-300$.

 

DIY amps would be cool aswell, but i will need a parts list aswell then.

 

 

My English is a little rusty, so dont mind my spelling mistakes pls =)

A Bellari HA-540 seems to work pretty well with Grados, it's a quiet amp (for a tube anyway).  They are for sale on ebay for way less than retail.  Give it a look.

Little dot 1+, you're right. 

 

Its a good match for grado's. (a nice budget solution)

Looks nice too, what about the Little Dot mkII and the mkIII. A bit more expensive, but there is a chance i would get another set of Grados later on. A bigger modell, but i havent decided yet..  How is the Little Dot when it comes to noice?

 

Also looked at the Hifiman DY-1, it's a BIT out of the price range but i might just have to live with that maby.

If you are looking to spend 2-300 I would recommend upgrading headphones before buying an amp. The sound of Sr-225s with a cheap amp or even 325s unamped will be much better than 80s with a nice amp.

 

Headphones are BY FAR the most important part of the chain, especially when you are on a budget.
