Cowon J3 Case Ringke vs Noreve Review

So...

I have both of Ringke and Noreve cases for my cowon j3....

For the first part, I am using the most my cowon j3 for sports, walking, running, and extreme sports....

I needed a case that could keep my precious player at safe, and still let me change/stop song, and change the volume....

Ringke. Is made from some kind of rubber material... but it feels like cotton or silk when you are touching it. The good part when using ringke is that your player is safe, and has some protection over the screen too....

I saw that ringke helps me to protect my j3 from impacts, and it's pretty useful if outside it rains....

In fact, i am using it more because of the ugly wheater these times... now, let's be serious...

Ringke can

-protect Screen and body

-you have acces to earphone jack and usb port

-prect tactile buttons from water

-protects from impacts

-be simple to use, get on/off quick and easy

- feels good to hand

- hold the screen separatley, so that it resolves the so known problem with loose screen

-even permits access to speaker, mic and reset button....

Ringke cannot

-Look that good( is kind of bulky)

-Shine

-let you touch the extreme parts of the display(or i have big fingers)

Now, Noreve time!....

Noreve is a different cloth... is made of leather, so it means a different quality... looks much more better... still has acces to tactile buttons... protects fully the screen... I am using it when i make sports, in that my j3 can make impact with the floor.... noreve, doesn;t protect you j3;s buttons from water.... but it protects all the screen, the body, and it protects the usb..... with noreve impacts are almost inexistent.... because it really works.....

Noreve can

-Protect your j3 body, screen and usb

-look glamorous, cute and cool

-permits acces to tactile buttoons

-permits acces to screen

- prects j3 from hits, impacts and shocks better... it has something in it that is very protective, like wool...

-permits acces to speaker, but protects it(has some kind of metal that is protecting the speaker)

- acces to MIC

-J3 can be easy put in and out of noreve...

- hold the screen separatley, so that it resolves the so known problem with loose screen

Let you feel more safe about your j3, but is pretty vulnerable to water

noreve cannot

-protect j3's buttons from water

-does not have direct acces to reset button

-is made of leather, is a little more degradable in time than rubber

-is expensive

and cannot let the screen be usable whithout a flip of the screen protection, which is necesarry, for impacts...

i hope you liked, if you have questions, feel free to ask...

and sorry for my bad english....

Great effort my friend! i my self have the original jelly case and although i am pretty happy i search for something more fancy like the colorful ringke cases. Also although i have access to the tactile buttons the response is not as good as without the case. Sometimes it fails to double press a button. How about the ringke case?

Please feel free to post some pictures of the ringke case too!wink.gif

i will try to make some pictures... it works well with double tapping, very well actually.... never had any problem with it.... if you like rubber cases it will be great.... it is pretty thick and this makes resistance to shocks... and the j3 a little bulkier, but i like bulky things, and i don't mind it....
