Heavy Metal Headphone Stand

I put this headphone stand together today with Unistrut, 1/2 inch hardware, and electrical parts. It has a very industrial look to it. I love playing all sorts of music through my K702s, but heavy metal and industrial is what this stand is all about. It probably weighs 25 pounds and if anchored in concrete could support headphones up to 500 pounds. I may make the 3" EMT (pipe on top) longer someday to accommodate his and hers K702s, although, I haven't figured out the "pink" mod for my wife's LOL. Comments welcome!

If you paint it black/brown, it'll be super-duper steampunk.

I hope your headphone cable is plenum rated, as it's outside of the conduit.

LOL

 

And paint may be in the future.  I am working out of town so all my good wood working tools are 6 hours away. =(.  This was not a bad effort considering the resources available.  Now if I did it in brass AND wood... steampunk as you can get!

Put some Grados or LCD2s on there, and then you have the steampunk headphones to match!
