Hey Guys
I own a Dell Studio 1555, needless to say the sound from the headphone out is the worst you can have.
from the time i've had it (Intel 82801IB ICH9M- High Definition Audio, IDT 92HD73C1 Audio Codec), i havent been satisfied with the sound at all. the Original Drivers are way to crappy, the updates are worthless, make it sound even more bad. so i uninstalled the OEM drivers and let windows install them on its own. the sound quality has been better since i also installed SRS Audio Sandbox. But overall, i still dont like it much. theres a lot of hiss in the background. is there any other viable solution (not external Sound Cards or anything like that) that is software/drivers related.
