Wanted:
WTB Cowon iAudio7 16GB

Want to buy Cowon i7.

After an incident with my beloved i7, I decided I would try the clip+ and see if the hype was true. I cannot stand the sound of the clip+ and, although I have made my i7 work again, it has reduced functionality and fear losing it in the future, it works great with my IE8.

I live in Spain and have extensive, 100% positive,  eBay feedback. If you have an old i7 lying around unused, send it to a new loving home.

I actually have a red 16gb one I bought years back which was replaced by J3 because the touch buttons in the iaudio 7 would sometimes malfunction. Also, there is a small crack on the top right touch button.

Honestly, I'm not desperate to sell it. And I don't even know if it's possible to send it into cowon and repair it.

But if you want it still, give me a PM...

Thank you Juman. I ended up buying a 32GB J3 last week.

The problem with my i7 was the Volume-down button broke internally. When trying to open it up two opposing screw heads stripped. I gave up and bought a fiio amp to control the volume, however, I seem to have broken the USB port when trying to force the device open. It still charges, but is now permanently stuck with the music inside it :-(

It was a great little player though.

I agree. I bought it soley to listen to music and nothing else. I was satified with it until it suddenly started to randomly fast forward without me even touching the touch buttons..

But anyway, enjoy the J3 =] More eq settings to experiment with, and watching movies with it is stellar! Oh and get yourself one of the Rearth silicon cases. Not sticky whatsoever and protects the J3 well. I bought mine after I realized I've been putting scratches on the back of my J3 =[.. The screen itself is STURDY though. Gorilla glass or something I heard. There was a youtube video of a guy trying to scratch the J3 screen with a knife and couldn't!
