Need better headphone adapter

So my Sennheiser 598's have a 1/4 inch jack on the end so of course it came with an adapter, but my problem is the adapter is relatively bulky and i can't use it with the case on my ipod.

I was wondering if there is anywhere (preferably online) that i can buy a slimmer adapter, that is very short
1/4" Female - 3.5mm Male.

If it can't be found i can settle for a short 3.5mm M-F but i can't find a short one of those either, preferably a few inches so i can get the adapter working with my case.

Grado makes such an adapter.

There are other places to get it, Google is your best friend.  =]

see I'd love to get that adapter but the 1/8 end of it is too thick to fit when my device is in my case. I need a cord thats thin at the end
