Can anyone repair my Airhead?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I have a Headroom Airhead and it's line-in jack as worn down to the point where getting a good signal into it requires a lot of jiggling and fiddling. Not having enough experience to repair it myself, I was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to give it a shot. The line-in jack is the only thing that needs replacing.

I'll ship it to you (I'm in NYC) and pay for repair via PayPal.
My eBay ID is Azhar.Chougle

Thanks!

I just moved this over to the DIY Forum. You're more likely to find help here.

It doesn't sound like too bad of a problem. There are prongs inside the jack and they bend out of contact range after awhile. Before replacing the jack, I'd open it up and bend the contacts back. You might want to consider trying it yourself, even. If not, someone here should be able to do it. Don't get rid of an otherwise good piece of gear.

Thanks. I'm going to pop it open and see if I can fix it. Will report back.

No luck. Since the battery terminals are soldered to the PCB, I couldn't open it much. With the limited amount I could, I tried pushing it in with a modified paperclip, but it didn't change the intermittent line-in issues.

If anyone can repair it, please get in touch with me.
