For sale is a Denon AH-D2000 with the Markl modifcation. I purchased these headphones two years ago from another headfier (not Markl) who performed the modification. While I can't say I've heard a stock D2000, I'm told that mod serves to tighten up the low end a bit. The headphones sound great and are in fine working order. There is, however, a cosmetic ding on one of the ear cups. It is a noticeable scrape about 2-3mm in length. Obviously, this does not affect sound reproduction. Headphones will come with original case.

 

I'm asking for $250 OBO + shipping via money order or cashier check. I'll accept paypal as well (+ 3% paypal fee) but I'd prefer the former two options. Alternatively, I'd also be interested in trading for a Headamp Gilmore Lite headphone amplifier.

 

I'm selling the headphones because I almost never use them am looking to scrape together some money for a new guitar. I've also always wanted to rebuy a Gilmore Lite (I regretted selling mine almost immediately) and would push back the guitar purchase for it. Thanks for looking!
