I'm currently using a Muse/EBay $60 headphone amp. (from China) with unmodified headphones.

I'll be Dynamating (Xtreme) and recabling (Mogami 2534) the JVC RX900s this week

And sometime in the near future doing the same for the Audio Technica ATH-AD700s

 

Decided to try building a DIY Hybrid Headphone amp. for around $150. (not including tools).

Something more sealed up and less exposed tube/components.

Mostly used to watch Blu-Ray movies late at night.

So what is currently recommended?
