PA2V2 Pocket Amp with Ferrite Core?

Im currently using a iPhone 3GS with my PA2V2 Pocket amp and Grado SR80i's. I sometime get GSM interference. I know it could set my iPhone 3GS on airplane mode but will a ferrite core work? Where should the ferrite core be on? Grado? Aux 3.5" cable?

3G is already enabled. Cellular Data is also enabled.

hmmmm whenever i have a solid 3G connection that doesn't drop to an EDGE connection, there is 0 rf interference. i find it strange the pa2v2 is particularly susceptible.

Newer models (#8000 and above, might be mistaken, though not by much) have a slightly different casing, that's more resistant to RF interference.

A ferrite core on the cable helps but not that much, it's mainly to eliminate noise from the source.

I have a PA2V2 ser#8022 and I get GSM interference all the time. Worse with my LOD. If I use a long (2'+) mini-plug cable I can get my iPhone far enough away that the interference is negligible. Haven't got a long LOD cable yet to try. Sound quality is definitely better through the LOD cable though. I even put some copper foil tape inside the amp casing to try to shield it, but it didn't really work.
