Anyone care to recommend best settings for recording live music? I record to 48-24 WAV, with auto level and low cut both off. However, in some music (acoustic guitar plus vocals) I recorded while on vacation, the vocals are clipped. I had the input volume set too high (around 70). Just wondering if I had set auto level to 'ON', if it would have prevented this clipping.
