I haven't listened to any that beats the UM3X. Sony EX1000 way inferior IMO, j-phonic K2 SP way inferior IMO, SM3 different (dark/less clarity) and so on. Another thing is that the RC version allows you to go for the silver cables which from my experience (Chris Himself's silver cable), does a difference. This IEM is so accurate and so versatile that I just can't get rid of it. And you can still get the UM56 custom tips for them wich makes a hell of a difference. Treble's the best I've heard (though a bit too bright).
